Brian Shortsleeve is a growth-focused investor and business leader with a strong track record of scaling growth-stage companies. He is Managing Partner at M33 Growth, a growth equity firm he co-founded, and serves on the Board of Titan Cloud Software, where he brings expertise in go-to-market strategy, operational scale, and long-term value creation.

At M33, Brian also serves on the boards of W Energy Software, L2L, GoDocs, and PerformLine. Prior to founding M33, he was Chief Administrator and Acting General Manager of the MBTA, where he was appointed by Governor Charlie Baker to lead a major turnaround focused on financial sustainability and infrastructure modernization.

Prior to MBTA and M33, Brian held leadership roles at Bain & Company, H.I.G. Capital, and General Catalyst, where he led investments in software and technology-enabled services. Brian is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School and served as a Marine Corps officer overseas.

Mayur Desai is a Managing Director and co-lead of strategy and investments for Charlesbank’s Tech Opportunities team. He first joined Charlesbank in 2009 as part of the two-year Associate program. Following his MBA, he worked as a Senior Associate at Vector Capital in San Francisco before returning to Charlesbank in 2015. In 2019, he joined the Tech Opportunities team, where he now plays a central role in directing the firm’s technology investments.

Earlier in his career, Mayur gained experience at Audax Group and Bain & Company. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in physics and electrical engineering & computer science from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Andrew Lev is an accomplished technology executive with over three decades of experience scaling high-growth software companies. He currently serves on the Board of Titan Cloud Software, a SaaS leader in downstream fuel and asset management for distributed enterprises.

Previously, Andrew was CEO of Cybera, where he scaled the business in secure networking for global retailers through to a successful acquisition. He’s also co-founded and led multiple startups to exit, including MetaTV (Comcast) and Neohapsis (Cisco).

Andrew advises private equity firms including Charlesbank on investment strategy, diligence, and operational execution. His background spans enterprise software, cybersecurity, and managed services, with a focus on helping companies grow, adapt, and compete in dynamic markets.

David Freese, founder and visionary leader of Titan Cloud Software, has led the company through transformative milestones since its inception in 2012, driving its evolution from a robust environmental compliance solution to the industry’s premier end-to-end fuel platform. Now serving as Chairman of the Board, David will continue to guide Titan Cloud’s strategic direction as it enters its next chapter.

David began his career as an engineer and application architect at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), where he built large custom systems, including one of the first large-scale commercial AI implementations. In the mid-90s, he became a digital products pioneer at PwC and Ernst & Young, transforming retail banking through innovative product platforms. Following his MBA, he focused on technology, digital strategy, and new product development at McKinsey & Company. His subsequent leadership roles in both startups and Fortune 500 companies included Chief Strategist at Wipro Technologies, Vice President & General Manager at Siebel Systems and Oracle, and CEO roles at Generation 5, Titan Management Group, and Titan Cloud Software. 

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. 

Brett Garrett’s appointment as CEO of Titan Cloud marks a significant milestone for the company. Having previously served as Chief Operating Officer, Brett brings a wealth of leadership experience in both private and public software businesses. His deep understanding of Titan Cloud’s operations and industry expertise make him uniquely qualified to drive the company’s global expansion and reinforce its position as the leading provider of downstream fuel supply chain software.

Prior to joining Titan Cloud, Brett amassed over a decade of leadership experience as a senior executive in high-growth private and public software companies. Before that, he spent ten years as an investor at Bain Capital and General Catalyst, where he gained deep expertise in scaling businesses and driving strategic growth. With this proven track record of expanding high-growth companies, Brett offers the strategic vision and operational insight needed to lead Titan Cloud into its next stage of growth.

Originally from Chicago and now living in Cambridge with his wife and three children, Brett holds a BA in Economics and a minor in Mathematics, along with an MA in Philosophy, from Stanford University. When not immersed in the world of business, he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and indulging in his love of music.

Chris Marks brings over 20 years of experience in finance, strategy, and operations to his role as Chief Financial Officer at Titan Cloud. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for scaling businesses and driving growth in fast-paced environments. 

Prior to joining Titan Cloud, Chris spent more than a decade in the technology industry, most recently as CFO of ExecOnline. Before that, he served as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Rapid7, a high-growth, SaaS-based cybersecurity company. There, he played a key role in driving the company’s growth from $30M in revenue to over $800M, leading a successful IPO, and managing numerous acquisitions. Chris also held senior leadership roles across finance, pricing, and revenue operations, demonstrating a talent for bridging financial and commercial strategies. Earlier in his career, Chris spent time at Deloitte, Bain Capital, and Highland Capital Partners. 

Chris earned his degree from the University of Connecticut and an MSA from the University of Hartford. In his free time, he enjoys being with his family, spending time in the mountains, traveling, and playing a round of golf.
