Our Team

David Freese
CEO & Chief Product Officer
David has over 25 years’ experience driving software business growth and profitability, as well as creating digital products in both start-up and Fortune 500 companies. He co-founded Titan Cloud Software in 2013 when the transformation of Titan Management Group into a pure play SaaS software company was complete.
He began his career as an engineer and application architect building large custom systems at Accenture (then Andersen Consulting), including one of the first large-scale commercial AI implementations. In the mid-90s, David was a digital products pioneer for PwC and Ernst & Young, helping retail banks transform their businesses with new product platforms. After business school he focused on technology, digital strategy, and new product development at McKinsey & Company. Later roles at startup firms and Fortune 500 companies have included: Chief Strategist at Wipro Technologies, Vice President & General Manager for Siebel Systems and Oracle, and CEO for Generation 5, Titan Management Group, and Titan Cloud Software.
David is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. He also received an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

Chris Brock
Chief Financial Officer
Chris has over 20 years’ experience in accounting, auditing, and financial management. He has worked in a number of industries, including retail, real estate, venture capital, and financial services. Prior to joining Titan, Chris was the District Controller for
Compass Group, the world’s largest food service company. Early in his career, he was the project controller for numerous portfolio investments held by a private investment firm and has led several successful PE exits and M&A events.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Accountancy from Lipscomb University. He is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Kurt Gutzmann
Chief Scientist
Kurt Gutzmann has over 23 years’ experience as a technology architect and scientist with a breadth of experience in industries such as AI research and development, software and cloud systems, UST compliance, ATGs and IoT. Most recently, Kurt was the founder and CEO
of Magnus Cloud, a cyber security startup based on an innovative proof-of-work protocol. Prior to Magnus Cloud, Kurt worked at KMPG Consulting, GCX Advanced Analytics, NerveWire, and CSC Consulting Group. In addition to other accomplishments, Kurt holds two patents, and has authored more than fifty technical papers, articles, and conference presentations.

Russell Dupuy
Senior Vice President, Global Wetstock & Managing Director, EMS
Russell has been in the retail fuel industry for over twenty years and has built several successful startups. He built Environmental Monitoring Solutions (EMS) into Australia’s leading provider of wetstock management and forecourt automation software and held senior roles at Fairbanks Environmental Pty Ltd. and Gilbarco Veeder-Root.
Russell is well known as an industry expert throughout the Asia-Pacific region and is a member of the Australia Institute of Petroleum, the Japan Fire Agency, the Energy Institute UK, and APEA.
As Senior Vice President of Global Wetstock at Titan Cloud, Russell is responsible for the global growth strategies of the company’s wetstock and fuel solutions.
He holds a double bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Computational Statistics from Swinburne University of Technology. He lives with his family in Melbourne, Australia.

Jon M. Mariñas
Senior Vice President, Compliance Services
Jon is a serial entrepreneur with experience taking small and medium-sized businesses to the next level. A 27-year petroleum industry veteran, founder, and President of JMM Global, Jon’s experience ranges
from developing operational excellence programs for major oil companies to running a best-in-class environmental software and services company. With a background in regulatory, operational compliance, and information management, Jon’s diverse experience includes working for Chevron, Tanknology, and BP Products North America. He is an active member of numerous petroleum industry associations and an investor and board adviser to multiple innovative startups.
Before entering the environmental field, Jon served in the United States Navy and earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer. In addition, Jon and his wife Kathryn established the JMM Educational Foundation for Wounded Heroes to honor the service of U.S. military veterans.

Brent Puzak
Vice President, Solutions Consulting
As Vice President of Solutions Consulting, Brent is responsible for ensuring all Titan’s customers realize the maximum value of their software and services.
Prior to joining Titan, he led the Environmental Shared Services Department at Circle K,
he had responsibility for the brand’s 9,000+ North American stores, handled global environmental acquisitions, and oversaw the wetstock management program.
Brent brings over 25 years’ industry experience to Titan; prior to Circle K, he worked as a regulator with compliance responsibility over petroleum systems in Florida and as an environmental compliance consultant. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Sciences from the University of West Alabama. He and his wife Lori have three children and in his spare time Brent enjoys travel, photography, and sports.

Brian Allender
Vice President, Process, Product & Digital Experience
Brian has over 15 years’ experience providing a range of solutions to businesses of all kinds, focusing on development, project management, quality assurance, and operations. As the Vice President for Process, Product, and Digital Experience at Titan, Brian leads the company’s overall product strategy,
including process improvement and development operations. He brings experience from large firms—such as Royal Caribbean and Koch Industries—and small startups to provide Titan with scalable solutions and processes as the company enters new phases of growth.
Brian graduated with a BA in Information Technology from Fort Hays State University, and lives in Miami.

Amanda Bennett
Senior Director, Product
Amanda has been with Titan since 2003, and has had a variety of roles throughout the organization during her tenure. She is now the Senior Director of Product, where she uses her industry knowledge and customer experience to serve as a customer advocate to drive our product forward.
Amanda has always been customer focused and continues to directly serve a few of Titan’s top accounts. “For me, it’s really about the customer. I like to know that what we do has a direct impact on their day-to-day business,” she says. Amanda is responsible for functional areas of the Titan Cloud platform, collaborating with internal and external customers to continuously improve the software, drive priorities and align with the Titan Cloud roadmap.
Amanda graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and earned her MBA from Texas Christian University. She then served in Americorps, working with the Fort Worth chapter of Habitat for Humanity as a lead project manager. She is an avid runner and enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two boys.

David Beechum
Director, Technology & Software
David brings over 20 years’ experience in software development and IT to Titan. He joined the company in 2010 as an engineer, and now serves as Director of Technology and Software. He was instrumental in moving Titan’s infrastructure to the cloud, and leading
the development of the company’s mobile app, ATG features, and polling software. About his role, David says, “My personal goal in software development and IT is to make someone’s day a little bit easier than it was the day before. Sometimes it’s the small things that make the biggest impact.”
David graduated with a BS in Computer Science from Tennessee Technological University and enjoys nature photography in his spare time.

Bill Dedrick
Chief Revenue Officer
Bill has over 3 decades of experience as a go-to-market leader driving revenue growth and customer success. As the top sales executive, Bill has led several emerging growth companies to successful outcomes. He has experience managing sales teams ranging from 5 to over 200 people across North America, EMEA and APAC. Bill’s expertise and contacts span a variety of industries including security, IT infrastructure, DevOps, eCommerce, content management, middleware and more.
Bill graduated from the University of New Hampshire where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He was an all-star player on the two-time conference championship football team.

Garrett Levey
Vice President, Operations & Strategy
Garrett has over 9 years’ experience scaling B2B software companies with a focus on augmenting go-to-market teams and executing strategic acquisitions. Prior to joining Titan, he was a member of the investment team at M33 Growth, a Boston-based venture and growth stage investment firm, where he was involved with the firm’s investments in Titan Cloud Software and Leading2Lean.
Before M33, Garrett was an investor at Wavecrest Growth Partners where he was involved with the firm’s investment in Building Engines. Garrett began his career as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank where he helped public and private software companies grow through raising capital and executing mergers and acquisitions.
Garrett graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in Philosophy. He is actively involved with the Combined Jewish Philanthropies and has served as a Mentor with BUILD Boston, which helps under-resourced high school students learn about entrepreneurship through starting their own businesses.

Todd Stewart
Vice President, Marketing
Todd is a marketing leader with a background in sales enablement, content, and design. After growing some of Boston’s most successful tech companies, he is now working with M33’s portfolio companies and helping them accelerate their marketing departments, launch ABM campaigns, rebuild their messaging, websites, and sales collateral to grow ARR.
After receiving his Masters in Organizational Communication, Todd ventured into conference marketing where he led the marketing strategy for 20 worldwide conferences at CBI. He then joined a Boston-based startup as employee 12 and led their content and design. After the company grew to over 100 employees, he joined WHOOP to kickstart their content and then Dispatch in 2016 where he led the digital experience, design, sales enablement, event strategy, and content. The company was acquired by Vista Equity Partners in 2018. In 2019 we were ranked #420 on the INC. 5000 list.
On the side, Todd started his own SaaS company, hosted a podcast called Subject Matter X, taught nightly public speaking classes at Bryant University, and lead public speaking workshops at General Assembly.
