Titan Cloud and Alvic demonstrate the benefits of Alvic CEI SIR at Motortec Madrid.

In late April, Titan Cloud had the opportunity to join our partners from Alvic at Motortec Madrid, the leading trade fair for the automotive aftermarket in Southern Europe. We were on hand throughout the four-day event, highlighting Alvic CEI, the company’s wetstock management platform powered by Titan Cloud.

Throughout the week, we had valuable conversations with attendees looking for ways to  digitalise management of service stations, distribution centres, and vehicle fleets. Many of those discussions revolved around Statistical Inventory Reconciliation (SIR). In Spain, as in other European countries, SIR is either required by law or highly encouraged as best practice.

Untapped Potential

What many fuel operators don’t realize, however, is that beyond the obligatory nature of SIR lies a far greater opportunity.

Alvic CEI SIR, for example, uses Titan Cloud technology to collect and monitor systems data at retail fuel sites to support precision wetstock management control. At the same time, the volume and quality of the data being collected provides a body of critical—and actionable—insights that can be used to optimize operations.

Real-time data around leak detection or inventory variance enables a wetstock manager to act quickly, addressing issues before they negatively impact site operations or customer experience, or before they trigger violations and fines.

The Titan Cloud technology used by Alvic also pinpoints root cause of unexpected variance, with alarms indicating Flow Rate, Line Drain Back or Meter Drift trends. This way, service calls can be prioritized by urgency and well targeted for speedy remediation. By centralising and analysing key data, SIR can be a valuable business tool offering efficiency, cost reduction and regulatory compliance.

Business Growth

With fuel operators of every size on hand at Motortec Madrid, many of our discussions focused on ROI—whether for mid-market retailers optimizing every euro or enterprise organisations looking to expand in the region. Here, too, the ability to have multiple datastreams fed into a single source of truth, with fully interactive dashboards and customised reporting, provides a significant business advantage.

In addition to exceptional efficiency, the scalable Alvic CEI platform delivers seamless integration for companies planning expansions or acquisitions. Wetstock management specialists from Alvic are always there to support along the implementation journey.

If you’re a fuel operator in the trans-Mediterranean region looking for a SIR solution that will power precise regulatory compliance and give you the data insights you need to optimize and grow your business, call Alvic or Titan Cloud today.
