Q&A with Alex Kechagias, Enterprise Account Executive, EMEA

One of the newest members of Titan Cloud’s international team, Alex has joined the company to lead growth across Eastern & Central Europe and the Mediterranean. In his role, he will drive regional expansion by identifying strategic opportunities, managing key accounts, and fostering strong partnerships with fuel retailers.

We reached out to Alex at his home office in Athens, Greece, and asked him to share his thoughts on how his role will help expand Titan Cloud’s footprint across the EMEA commercial fueling and retail ecosystem.

What led you to join Titan Cloud, and what experience do you bring to the role?

I’ve spent most of my career in sales and leadership roles, starting in professional services before moving into the tech industry. In my most recent position, I worked with fuel retailers in Greece, primarily in the Fuel Card business, which gave me valuable insights into how fuel retailers operate.

Before that, I was responsible for the EMEA region, gaining extensive experience in international markets. Joining Titan Cloud felt like a natural progression. It brings together everything I’ve learned so far across technology, fuel retail, and a general interest in helping customers make their operations stronger and more efficient.

What was it about the company and role that appealed to you?

I was drawn to the opportunity to join a company with a market-leading product in countries like the United States and Australia and which is now expanding rapidly across EMEA. It’s exciting to be part of this growth journey and contribute to something that’s truly making an impact on the industry.

The role itself appealed to me because it offers the chance to directly influence Titan Cloud’s expansion into new markets while continuing to learn and take on new challenges. I also look forward to collaborating with colleagues from different markets and industry backgrounds. It’s a great environment for both professional and personal growth.

How do you see Titan Cloud evolving as a global company in Europe? What do you see as the key priorities or challenges within your market?

In today’s market, having a strong and proven product is essential, as buyers are more informed and selective than ever. Titan Cloud already has a robust platform that continues to evolve, as shown with the recent plans to acquire Techniche EV, which will further strengthen our offering.

My priority is to introduce our solutions to the market and clearly communicate the value they deliver to customers. At the same time, gathering feedback from the field will be critical to tailoring our approach to the specific needs of each country.

Some of the key challenges include navigating diverse regulatory environments and addressing the fragmented nature of certain markets, where many fuel stations are independently owned. Overcoming these challenges will be key to building lasting partnerships and driving sustainable growth across the region.

What are your thoughts on the Greek market, in terms of retailers, partners, regulations and the opportunities?

Greece presents a unique market with a high number of independently owned fuel stations, which makes building strategic partnerships essential.

Fuel theft and fraud have been persistent challenges, particularly for retailers with dealer networks, and Titan Cloud can play a crucial role in ensuring fuel quality and protecting brands. The regulatory landscape is already strict and is expected to become even more demanding, which further highlights the need for compliance-driven solutions.

All of this creates strong momentum for technology adoption. There’s real opportunity for solutions that bring data together, help retailers run more efficiently, and strengthen trust across the entire supply chain.

Beyond your industry-specific skillset, what other strengths do you bring to your role, and how do they align with Titan Cloud’s approach?

I’m a doer, focused on execution and achieving results, and I’m driven to meet goals while ensuring that everything we deliver (product, support, and customer experience) exceeds expectations. I’m always open to learning, challenging myself, and improving along the way. I believe my persistence, adaptability, and ability to find the right approach align well with the company’s ambitions for growth and impact.

Let’s get to know you! When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your time?

I’m currently based in Athens, Greece, which makes summer getaways pretty easy, though I’m originally from Thessaloniki, the country’s second-largest city. I enjoy good food, and to keep things balanced, I make time for exercise as well. I also love reading and gaming online with friends. It’s a fun way to stay connected, especially when we’re in different cities. Beyond that, I really value spending quality time with my partner and close friends.
